Megan Kline-Crockett
Board Member
As Executive Director of the Richard and Karen Carpenter Performing Arts Center, Megan oversees the programming and implementation of each Carpenter Center Season. Megan also oversees the overall development, vision and growth of the Carpenter Center, with an emphasis on developing educational arts programming for CSULB students, Long Beach Unified elementary students, and the local campus community. In 2020, Megan collaborated with the CSULB Provost’s office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for Academic Affairs to establish the Voices for Justice initiative: a speaker series facilitating conversations around the arts and equity, community building and activism.
Prior to joining the Carpenter Center, Megan worked as the Managing Director of the CSULB Theatre Arts Department, which included mentoring the MFA/MBA Theatre Management graduate students. A passionate and avid supporter of the arts, Megan began her career in arts administration in New York City as the Administrative Director of a high profile contemporary art gallery.
