Funded Tours

To date, California Presenters has provided over $65,000 in touring support to its members through its Tour Support Program.

The goals of the program are to:
  • Stimulate the creation, production and touring of new work in the performing arts;
  • Foster collaboration between presenters in California and the western United States through block booking;
  • Update meetings held at the annual regional Western Arts Alliance conference and the Association of Performing Arts Presenters (APAP) conference discussing hot topics, potential funding, new collaborations and touring;
  • Increase access to high quality artists in culturally, economically or geographically underserved communities; and
  • Increase community engagement between artists and communities.
