Artist Support

In order to diversify the market and provide targeted opportunities for emerging artists to build substantive relationships with presenters, the Artist Spotlight Program is currently open ONLY to unrepresented or self-presenting artists.

Tour Support Program History

California Presenters launched its New Work Tour Support Program in 2006 with funding from WESTAF, and with its own  financial commitment with a goal to support the creation, block booking and touring of new work. To date, this program  has generated several successful tours. In addition, projects have been selected to receive Presenter Tour Support grants: The National Council for the Traditional Arts’ Music from the Crooked Road: Mountain Music of Virginia (2006); Perla Batalla’s Discoteca Batalla (2006); Romulo Larrea Tango Ensemble’s TANGO 1st CENTURY(2007); Trey McIntyre Project’s The Sun Road (2008) Mitchell Rose’s The Mitch Show and Metales M5 Brass Quintet (2011),  NCTA's Don't Fence Me In (2012),  Siro-A (2014) and Drum TAO (2016).

Please check back for future opportunities in early 2017.
