Ilaan Egeland Mazzini is the Director of Programs and Activations at BroadStage, where she designs public programs and community initiatives. Her work centers on intergenerational activations and experiential learning. Since joining BroadStage, she has provided key support to integrate inclusion, diversity, equity, and access (IDEA) within the institution’s structural frameworks and helped launch the California Presenters IDEA Newsletter. Previously, she served as Artist Recruitment and Engagement Manager at the John Anson Ford Theatre and Head of Family Programs at the Skirball Cultural Center. Ilaan holds a B.F.A. in Dance from CalArts and an M.F.A. from UCLA’s Department of World Arts and Cultures, which launched her into the world of being a professional dancer and arts educator. Her eclectic creative background spans commissions, grants, films, and music videos. After a few decades of performing her own work and others, including a national tour with David Rousseve/REALTY, she continues to dance on TikTok and Instagram @ilaand.onmyfeet.
