Ed Estrada is a seasoned performing arts professional with more than 39 years of experience in venue management, production, and operations. Throughout his career, he has played key leadership roles in opening state-of-the-art performing arts centers, relaunching renovated theaters, and guiding organizations through periods of growth and transition. He has also provided venue management consulting and toured globally in production management roles.

Ed served as Director of Production for the San Diego Symphony, overseeing production operations for performances and events at the Jacobs Music Center and The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park. Previously, as Vice President of Operations for the McCallum Theatre in Palm Desert, he managed operational and production services for approximately 140 performances each season.

Ed was instrumental in the successful opening of the Federal Way Performing Arts & Event Center, and served as Director of Events and Technical Services Manager, helping to provide a significant new arts space for the Seattle/Tacoma area with its inaugural season in 2017. Earlier, as Director of Production for Livermore Valley Arts in California, he oversaw production for the Bankhead Theater from its opening in 2007 through its 10th anniversary season. During a period of organizational transition, he served as Interim Theater Manager and Board Liaison, supervising theater operations and programming.

Earlier in his career, Ed spent nearly two decades at his first performing arts center in El Cajon, California, advancing through increasingly responsible production management roles. He also toured internationally with Diavolo Dance Theater during its rise from a regional company to recognition as a City of Los Angeles Cultural Treasure.

Ed holds a Bachelor of Science from San Diego State University and a Master of Science in Arts Administration from Drexel University.
