In his eighth year as CEO of The Muckenthaler Center, Mr. Hirsch oversees The Muck’s Art Galleries, Concert Venues, Museum, Summer Arts Camps, and the recent construction of a new $2million, state-of-the-art Arts Education complex opened November 2023 at the 100 year-old historic mansion on a majestic hill in Fullerton, California. During this time he has brought in gallery exhibits from around the world including the noted works of Salvador Dali, and Celedon ceramics elder statesman Master Kim. The Muck’s Endowment has more than doubled during his time and winners of more than 200 Grammy Awards have appeared on the stage. |
He brings to this position a vast range of experience in the Arts, in Media, and in Management. From 2002-2016 Mr. Hirsch was in charge of programming, production, and operations for stations he created on SiriusXM Satellite Radio. Before that Mr. Hirsch spent 7 years with the Theatre LA Ovation Awards, Los Angeles' only peer judged theatre awards show.
Mr. Hirsch is also a playwright and producer for more than 150 productions. Plays he wrote performed everywhere from The National Theatres of Sweden and South Africa, to Lincoln Center in NY, to Ebensburg PA. In 2018 he also became a best selling author with Riverdale Press’ release of his book, “What I Learned By Messing Up in Front of 50 Celebrities” He has also done everything else.
