Beto González is a Program Associate at the Skirball Cultural Center, where he curates music programming. He has been involved in the performing arts for almost 20 years as a musician, producer, and ethnomusicologist. Beto is the founder of the Los Angeles musical collective, Samba Society. He holds Masters degrees in Latin American Studies and Ethnomusicology from UCLA and is a Fulbright scholar. As a first-generation American, Beto is deeply committed to diversity and equity in the arts.
