Professional Development

California Presenters takes advantage of our leadership position in the field to further the professional development of our members through networking, knowledge exchange, mentorship and learning opportunities.

Webinars

Beginning in 2009, CP introduced a Webinar series of question-and-answer conference calls with our membership, moderated by CP Board Members and featuring nationally recognized leaders in the arts. The Webinars support the exchange of ideas on issues of relevance and importance to our field. Listen to and/or download past sessions. >>

Presentations and Workshops

As part of the annual Artist Information Exchange (AIE), CP conducts presentations and interactive workshops for our membership on areas of concern, including marketing, branding, development, outreach/engagement.

Mentorship

California Presenters is excited to launch a free year-long intensive one-on-one mentorship program aimed to assist the next generation of arts presenters in developing skills necessary to succeed as leaders in the field. We have just selected our first cohort of mentees, the program begins in September 2011. This Program is funded in part by the Creative Capacity Fund’s NextGen innovations Grant Program. Share Your Expertise
